How to build round cabins for trucks?

Hi there! Hopefully I'm in the right sub-forum to ask this question...if not, please be so kind to move this topic to the right place 
Maybe some of you know the website http://www.racepaper.de or http://www.streetpaper.de where Volker Preikschat publishes his simple but great models from various kinds (trucks, cars, racecars, military etc.). The only "problem" with those models is they are very edgy or angular so I asked myself if it would be possible to make those models much more round. At least the VW Titan would be a very interesting 1:100 round cabin model for me
To cut a long story short, can anyone of you tell me what I need to do, to make a round cabin? For me it looks like the round cabins are a bit wider on the print, the front window is a single part and the top/back of the cabin too. But I guess that this is not the trick!? Perhaps someone can tell me the secret of how to build round or rounder cabins?
